Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

1) Do I need additional software, equipment or training required to use Pluform?

No, Pluform is completely web based and accessible without additional software or special settings anywhere a computer with Internet access is available. Pluform is also very user friendly. Finally, there are several guidelines available with detailed descriptions of the various features and functionalities.

2) What are the user fees?

3) How is the online communication secured?

Pluform uses an extended method of SSL, SSL Extended Validation. One of the main features of this Extended Validation SSL Certificate is that the address bar (for Internet Explorer 7 and higher turns green (see above the address bar of this website). This means that the identity of the owner of the website that is listed in the SSL Certificate is validated through the rigorous Extended Validation Guidelines. 4) How about user privacy?

We attach great importance to the privacy of our users. For this reason, no user data is shared with third parties (unless otherwise required by law), including not through external software like Google Statistics. See our full Privacy and Security Policy here.

5) Who has access to Pluform and how is it protected?

Only users with a username, password and optional an SMS-code (two-step verification) can access Pluform. Counsellors can only view the profiles of their own clients. Clients cannot view each other’s profiles. By default, no personal addresses, phone numbers or mail data is visible. See our full Privacy and Security Policy here.

6) Where, how and how long data be stored?

The data stored within Pluform are saved on servers in the Netherlands on the servers of the certified datacenters of Interconnect, located in the Netherlands (Eindhoven and ‘s-Hertogenbosch). Therefore the strict Dutch legislation is applied and the US Patriot Act does not apply. The data is AES-256 encrypted and send to the server as well as encrypted stored on servers of Interconnect. 7) Are the functions in Pluform always available?

Basically, the various functions are 24 hours a day and seven days a week accessible.  Of course there is a dependency on the availability of the Internet.

8) What to do if an error occurs?

If an error message appears in your screen, log out from your Pluform profile and try again later. If there are still error messages after several attempts, please contact our helpdesk or send an email using the contact form (please note your name and a detailed description of the error). We will contact you as soon as possible.

9) I lost/forgot my password/username, now what?

Click here: Password forgottento request a new password. You will receive an email with a link in your e-mail account. This link can only be used one time. Tip: for safety reasons the password is not visible in the profile. When entering a new password several stars will appear and after saving the new password the input screen will be empty again.

10) How do I add a new client to my Pluform account?

Step 1) Go to the ‘clients​’ button (in the right menu). Then select the ‘Add coach​’ button on the new screen.

Step 2) A new window will pop up. Complete the mandatory fields:

  • Name, surname and sex,
  • Email address: important: write the email address of your client​ where notifications will be received. 
  • Language settings: here you choose your language settings. In this language the profile of your client​ will be visible. The same language will be used as default setting for notifications. Your clients​ can adjust the language settings at any time.
  • Dialogue: write a welcome message for your client​. This message will appear automatically in the profile of your client​.

Step 3) Select the button ‘Create new account’.

The new account will be automatically added to your overview of ‘clients​’. An automatic email will be sent to the email address of your client​ with instructions and an activation link. Now your client​ can activate his or her account and introduce a password of his or her choice.
